- I’m an advertising guy, with over 20 years in the business. I began my career in New York City in the mid-80’s, moved to Frankfurt, Germany, in 1989, and have lived here ever since. I’ve been with Saatchi & Saatchi, Frankfurt, for 10 years. Right now I’m a regional planning director on P&G business and have provided digital and social media strategic consultation in this role. I am passionate about new media, social media, web 2.0 — whatever your preferred label for the way people are using the web to connect, share and empower each other on the things they care about. And that includes the products and services they buy. There has never been a more exciting time to be in marketing and communications. I write a blog on social media at http://socialmediasoapbox.wordpress.com. I'm looking for the next career step that will let me spread my social media wings.
